Brief: The NSPCC have a fantastic product called ‘Letters from Santa,’ which has, until recently, always been marketed offline. Whilst at Whitewater we pitched against five other agencies to creatively market the product online.
Solution: I worked closely with my Art Director and Copywriter at Whitewater from idea generation through to scamps and finally design and build. Getting involved with the creative conception of the viral itself from story boarding through to final production we crafted a Facebook page that sat on the current NSPCC Facebook page and engaged users by pulling at the heart strings driven by the viral. It then informed them all about the letters from Santa product and drove them through to it.
Uk Fundraising.com described the viral… The NSPCC has appointed Whitewater to create a viral campaign for their Christmas fundraising activity, the first time that the children’s charity has used social media to drive traffic to its ‘Letter from Santa’ campaign.
