Logos Using Negative Space


Following on from our lecture last Tuesday about colour, we were shown some great examples of logo design, such as the Fedex arrow and the Amazon A-Z smiley face. I thought I would share a few more that I’ve came across that make great use of negative space to produce some clever and thoughtful logo designs. I found the yoga Australia to be a favorite, its very subtle in its use of shape the actual country outline is not immediately visible but seems to be their in the back of your mind as you look at it, automatically making you assume it is associated with Oz without even reading the name.Logos:
