Day 5 smash it

Well terrible night sleep last night…Why cant someone invent something so that we don’t have to sleep anymore! Also smashed something in the morning whilst getting it out of the dish washer, so overall bad start to the day. From this it got me thinking about other things that can smash, or more so that cant smash but could possibly be made to look like they have so I started to

Day 4 toilet paper art

Well same old usual sleep, weather is looking pretty grim outside which I should expect I suppose being in England. Today was pretty simple I looked around my room for things I could shape into objects. I wanted to use something that I could man-oeuvre and keep together whilst creating a form, similar to peeling an orange all in one go! So I used some string and toilet paper to

Day 3 “together or apart” old skool

Well sleep was fairly average. Woke up and jumped straight onto my RSS feeds again and came across another article about Art and the community it was basically discussing, weather art should be embraced as a community or individually and then went onto talk about many aspects of togetherness and apart. Well great sleep last night, just didn’t focus on American dad so much! So after checking my emails I did what I normally do which is go onto my Igoogle page and skim over the many RSS feeds I have from design and creative related blogs around the world. One in particular caught my attention, not so much design or creative related but more moral and ethical related. The article was about the death sentence and the many forms it exists in around the world:

The term ‘ design innovation’ while not having a universally acknowledged definition, is increasingly used in the professional

Day 1 Apple Mac book with memory stick

Alright so the first day of creativity begins. Sleep wise I reckon I got about 7 hours sleep last night, its my own fault I kept watching loads of episodes of American Dad online instead of just putting my head down. So I figure especially in the past 6 months I have constantly lived and breathed at my desk sitting at my my Macbook, so much so I think my eyes have gone a little square.

Creative direction; “x” days of creativity

As part of a self initiated project, I’m going to explore creativity as a whole by creating some sort of piece each day for a certain amount of days (determined by my research) within my surroundings. I will see how things such as sleep effect my creativeness, what articles I read, TV shows I watch, the list is endless. I will keep a research journal offline of my findings and ideas and use this blog as a summary for each individual days piece of creativity once completed, so… Lets see the brief:
