Man Citys Big 4 Home Games Posters

Music in Manchester created three posters to promote Manchester City Football Club’s “big four” Premiership home fixtures of the football season. Accompanied by an illustration of Tevez from Shephard Fairey’s studio, Studio Number One Music apparently commissioned the 4 illustrators to do the posters to raise the support and awareness of Man Citys final big 4 home games. I think the posters themselves look awesome and instill a bit of civic pride for the fans. You can see the different styles of each illustrator coming out in each poster.

The Independent has always been… Well independent I guess, “We push no proprietorial or political agenda, and seek only to expose the truth; however uncomfortable that may be, or whomever it may offend.” {The Independent.} The Independent prides itself on being equal and telling or exposing the truth to its consumers. In the current climate of tumultuous times, an economic crisis and a parliamentary scandal form the backdrop to the most significant election for three decades. Who knows what the outcome will be?

So I find as you get more experienced with the web, identity, logo, advertising and all things graphic design you start to realize that ‘simple’ is usually the most effective. So I decided to stop with the graphic imagery driven portfolio websites and go clean and simple, after all they say the best thing to show off an image is on a nice clean white background. BUAV Facebook page

Alright well this is so cool, a Korean contemporary artist creates these almost ceramic visual sculptures entirely from photographs, he painstakingly matches each photograph up to create his visual. A great collaboration of photography
