Recently over Christmas I designed and created A Facebook/Fan page for the charity BUAV, a current client of Whitewater. Having only created facebook/fan pages for myself and also in experiments, I felt this was a real chance to show the BUAV the power of facebook pages and the many features you can incorporate into it. I wanted the page to be like a social hub for the charity where people could interact, donate, receive newsletters, join a campaign, find out info, subscribe and share, etc.

I built two of the pages named ‘Donate’ and ‘The truth about botox’ using the profile application that allows you to code HTML and flash (sometimes using facebooks language.) The page overall was a huge success and the client loved it, were just currently trying to move their 6,000 group member s over to facebook. The charity is an extremely important and worthy charity helping to protect against experiments on animals. Take a look at the page here http BUAV Facebook page and let me know what you think.
