Key Definitions

CSS: Cascading style sheets, used to style an Internet website or webpage.

HTML: Hypertext markup language, the code used to create a webpage.

Attribute: Referring to a main structure of a webpage whilst it is being built, e.g header, footer, body

Element: Referring to a specific style property of an attribute, e.g height, width, colour, font-size.

‘em’: A unit of measurement in HTML code.

‘pt’: Points. A unit of measurement in HTML code.

Pixels: A measurement used when referring to computer screens sizes.

Screen Resolution: The size of a computer screen measured in pixels.
